Travel to countryside.

The week in countryside.

After my mom I've got a small house in the country in 170 miles from Moscow.
I've decided visit this place with my daughter, for a week at my summer vacation.
This is really nice lonely place among the fields and forests. I have a small studio in the house at the second floor. The studio was empty, only wooden walls, two desks, two little lamps and a bed. I like this place, especially the view from the window.
House was full of memories, sad reflections and old things. Old clothes were on the shelves, on chairs. I was thinking that things are still living after death. Things are supporting us in the world, they are our slaves, but when we left, they stay in the dust waiting for new life probably.

We have arrived at night we were going by a taxi between dark fields, woods, followed the empty road without any lights.
House met us with smell of old wood and old things. It was absolutely useful for living with food and water on the kitchen. So we had supper quickly and were sleeping well.
The dream I had was unbelievable. I saw my mom on the strange cemetery, she was sitting on the stone, it was seems she need a lot of forces for any movement and her voice is sounded quietly.
Can I see you again? I was asking,
Yes, she told to me.
Where are you now?
This is a place for those who was ill or had a lot of troubles in life.
How I can see you again?
If you will wake up earlier, do things that you should do exactly you'll be there too.
I awakened in a sweat. I felt no fears about death anymore.

At next day I started paint a landscape through my studio window. I was drank, in the house I found many big bottles of home made wine. My emotions and feelings were following unconscious ways, my hands was moving suddenly, my fingers were doing painting without brushes I was absolutely glad the way I paint.

On a next morning I went to a big village in one mile from our house for shopping. Was really hot, the road was destroyed with previous rains so it was hard to walk there. In the village I saw some people in the shop they were buying foods and drinks. Prices were a little cheaper than in Moscow. I bought some foods and cigarettes. The village was empty only the sun was making air very hot and my skin was burned.
When the road lead me back home a lot of insects were eating my blood, so it wasn't especially pleasant to go back.

Not far away from our house is a small cold river Tudovka. Fresh water and cold air is making this place pretty nice for bathing. So we often go there.
When I have been going to the river for bathing I met the man who's helped his insane aunt with homework. That insane woman lived alone most of time in the broken house. She had no food often and was asking my mom for help. It was unpleasant, but my mom has been giving her a food always.
Then I've got a river, weather was hot, but the water was cold I've been trying to get deeper in the river, the sand nicely touched my skin. I felt absolutely relaxed and enjoyed the waves. I felt the nature, insects, fishes, birds. Water in the river is seems memory. In my mind the memories are living in the dreams mostly.

After the week in countryside we get back in Moscow again. The weather was unusually hot and I was thinking about travels.

The art is infinite, though I'm finite. So the problem is how to get sufficiently close to the infinity."

'American asylums' by photographer jeremy harris takes a look at the derelict architecture of abandoned mental hospitals,
a project that commenced in 2005. The series highlights the magnificent structures that were built as a form of therapy -
serving as a reminder of the thousands of individuals who lived in these places, some for the majority of their lives.

Album Artwork: El-P. At first glance this stylised image of a bird looks like a splash of liquid, but on closer inspection you can see it’s made up of shards of broken mirror. The image, which is El-P’s logo, was designed by late sculptor and artist Alexander Calder, who drew it for him when he was a child.
