Bakemono Geisha

Acrylic painting inspired by Japanese culture.
Portrayed a geisha surrounded with bakemono or bake, personages of Japanese folklore.
Bakemono are a class of yōkai, preternatural creatures in Japanese folklore.
Literally, the terms mean a thing that changes, referring to a state of transformation or shapeshifting.
In this painting artist tried to catch the atmosphere from a vintage Japanese horror movies.
